Animated dancing emoji
Describe a dancing character doing one thing and get it back as a looping GIF. For a dancing character that means a side-to-side sway with the arms up. A dance is already a loop, so six frames of a sway read as the whole move rather than a slice of one.
Emojis you create are public and may appear in Explore.
Prompts that loop well for a dancing character
Dancing banana
Frog doing a little dance
Dancing hot dog with sunglasses
Each names a single action. The generator draws 6 frames of one picture and plays them at 110 ms each, so a prompt that asks for a whole scene comes back as a still with a shiver, while a prompt that asks for one motion comes back moving.
Ready-made animated dancing emojis
Looping GIFs you can download right now, or describe your own above.
Where it goes
The GIF is 128x128 and 30 to 60 KB, which is under every chat app's animated emoji cap, so there is nothing to compress. Each app has its own rule about who can upload and who can use it:
Animated dancing emoji FAQ
How do I make an animated dancing emoji?
Type what it should do, for example "Dancing banana", with the Animated toggle on. The generator draws 6 frames of one picture and cuts them into a looping GIF at 128 pixels.
What motion works best for an animated dancing emoji?
A side-to-side sway with the arms up. A dance is already a loop, so six frames of a sway read as the whole move rather than a slice of one.
Will an animated dancing emoji fit in Slack or Discord?
Yes. The GIF comes out at 30 to 60 KB, under Slack's 128 KB cap and Discord's 256 KB, so it uploads without a compression step. Twitch sizes are on the emoji's page after you make it.
