Why one drawing beats 6

A badge ladder only does its job if a viewer can tell at a glance that the twelve-month badge is the same object as the one-month badge, promoted. Six drawings commissioned separately never quite line up -- the angle drifts, the proportions drift -- and the ladder stops reading as a rank. Drawing once and recolouring in code makes them identical by construction.

A designer drawing a six-tier badge set usually quotes somewhere between $60 and $250, and the revisions are where the time goes: getting six drawings to match is most of the work, and it is exactly the part this skips.

Which milestones does Kick use?

Kick's subscriber badges sit at 1, 3, 6 and 12 months. The pack builds six tiers at 1, 2, 3, 6, 9 and 12 months, so the four Kick asks for are already there and the other two are yours for later or for another platform.

Can I use the same badges on Twitch as well?

Yes. The pack is one set of files, and the ladder covers both -- Kick's 1, 3, 6 and 12 month milestones are a subset of the six tiers Twitch unlocks. Upload the same PNGs to both and your channels match.

What if the badges do not come out?

You get the whole purchase back automatically. Badges are paid for before anything is drawn, so if the object cannot be drawn or colour-keyed into tiers, the refund is issued without you asking for it.
